Align Your Smile with Invisalign®
For years, metal braces have been the traditional choice of orthodontists for aligning the smiles of patients. However, many people forgo the benefits of orthodontic care due to embarrassment and inconvenience that accompany metal brackets and wires. Today, innovative techniques and advanced technology have provided an alternative to traditional teeth straightening methods. Instead of the hassle of braces, you can discreetly align your smile with Invisalign®.
Transparent Invisalign aligners make straightening your teeth more efficient, subtle, and comfortable than ever before. Invisalign aligners are custom-made to perfectly fit your smile. Each phase of the nearly invisible aligners will apply light pressure to guide your teeth gently into the perfect position for stunning results. The aligners are easily removable, allowing you to eat, drink, and complete your oral hygiene routine without interference. Dr. Seth is proud to be an Invisalign Gold+ Provider

Removable
Your Invisalign aligners can easily be removed before eating, playing sports, or brushing and flossing your teeth. They’ll never interfere with your lifestyle.
Efficient
Treatment with traditional braces takes around two years on average, whereas Invisalign can achieve the same results in as little as 12 months. Get the straight smile you deserve in just half the time!
Comfortable
Invisalign has no metal brackets or wires to irritate the soft tissue of your mouth. Each new phase of aligners is customized to fit precisely over your teeth for maximum comfort.

The Invisalign Process at Village Dental
During your initial clear aligners consultation at our Wayne dental office, Dr. Seth will examine your oral health and create your customized treatment plan. Every patient’s Invisalign process is unique to their needs and goals. Every phase with Invisalign is meticulously planned out in advance, creating a treatment schedule that generally takes between one and two years.
After you approve the personalized treatment plan we’ve curated, Dr. Seth will take digital X-rays, impressions, and photographs of your teeth. These will be sent to the Invisalign lab where they’ll begin creating your custom aligners.
Once the first set of your clear aligners is ready, you’ll pick them up at our office and Dr. Seth will ensure they’re a perfect fit. You’ll wear your aligners for about 22 hours a day over the next two weeks before moving on to the next phase. This process will continue over the course of your entire treatment, with each set of aligners gently moving your teeth towards the ideal position.

Are 100% At-Home Aligners Better?
Today, some patients choose clear aligner alternatives where the entire treatment is completed from home. Although these types of at-home aligners may sound more convenient, they can actually be harmful to your smile in the long run.
Without the guidance of an experienced Invisalign dentist like Dr. Seth, your at-home treatment won’t be as personalized. Additionally, these types of aligners can worsen or complicate the unique orthodontic issues that some patients may have. Make the best choice for your smile and put your trust in an expert that’s helped hundreds of patients achieve their smile goals.

It’s possible for patients to switch from metal braces to Invisalign mid-treatment. Your candidacy will depend on your treatment needs and your dentist’s recommendation. While Invisalign can treat many misalignment issues, there are some situations that make metal braces the better choice.

You’ll remove your clear aligner trays to clean them, gently brushing the outside and inside with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Invisalign-specific cleansers are available to help remove stains and bacteria from your aligners.
Make sure to remove your aligners to enjoy your meals or drink anything other than water. This will help ensure your aligners don’t become damaged or stained. Before you put your aligners back in, brush your teeth to prevent any leftover food material from getting on your aligners.
Invisalign won’t interfere with your diet, meaning you can eat and drink anything you’d like so long as you remove your aligners beforehand. The only thing you can consume while wearing your aligners is water, as any other liquid or food can cause stains or damage to your aligners.
Always remember to brush your teeth before putting your aligners in, so you don’t transfer food particles, sticky residue, or bacteria onto your aligners. This helps to keep them clean and maintain their transparency.
